Help Ensure that the Proposed Willshire Development & Recent Zoning Changes Do Not Harm Our Small Town

The high-density Willshire Development alone could:

  •  Increase our tax burden;

  • Add traffic, threatening pedestrian safety and neighborhood tranquility;

  • Increaase overcrowding at Poolesville High School'

  • Further pollute Dry Seneca Creek (Poolesville’s principal stream) and;

  •  Waste one of our last opportunities for development that could enhance and maintain our small town character and historic resources.

Learn about these and other potential impacts from the experts:

  •  Richard Klein, President/Founder of Community Environmental Defense Services

  • Caroline Taylor, Executive Director of Montgomery Countryside Alliance
